The Key to Mastering Unconditional Love

Why I love to love...

Happy Valentine’s Day to my Smile with Sander community. Whether you’re spending it with a loved one or enjoying your own company, today I want to share why I love to love and why you should too!

Love is Free:

Love is free, so spread it everywhere. You don’t have to pay for it, and it doesn’t come with conditions. Every single day you can lead with love, and no one can stop you from doing so. Spread love everywhere and through everything that you do. Love your neighbor, love your pet, even love inanimate objects that provide you satisfaction. Even when times are tough, you can always love; it won’t cost you anything.

Love is for Everyone:

Everyone deserves to be loved, and if no one has told you this yet today, I want to remind you that I love you. Love has no bounds; it doesn’t discriminate based on sex, age, gender, or anything else. It is simply feelings and emotions that everyone can have towards themselves or others. There are so many things in life that have restraints and barriers attached to them, and love is not one of them. We are all worthy of love and deserve to be proud to love who we want. No one can tell you who you should or shouldn’t love, and with patience and strength, I’m confident that everyone can find it in a partner, through family, or even friends. Love is for you; never forget.

Love is Unconditional:

Love is genuine, true, and something you can feel without comprehending how you have such strong passion or emotion towards something. Embrace that unconditional love each day towards the things that matter most in life. When showing love, ensure it's not tied to some ulterior motive or benefit. The truest form of love is not expecting something in return; no conditions attached.

Love is Hard:

For all the beauties that love has to offer, it’s not easy. We all go through different internal battles and obstacles, and sometimes it just won’t make sense. You might feel so much love one day and then a different emotion the next. There’s no rulebook on how to love, why to love, or when to love. It’s hard finding love, staying in love, and consistently showing that unconditional love. With all the difficulties in love, always remember that love will prevail. You will always find love in different people and things in your life, no matter how hard it might get.

Love Yourself:

Loving yourself is probably the most important aspect of love. Love your body in its truest form, love your brain even if it sometimes drives you nuts, and never stop putting the love for yourself first. In order to savor the most love possible in your life, you really need to be proud to be you and remind yourself that you are amazing, even on your low days. By loving yourself, you can truly set yourself up to spread more love each day.

If you were counting, this blog used the word 'Love' 60+ times. There’s no limit to how much you can love, and for all the reasons described, you too can spread unconditional love every day. It is one of my favorite things to do, and I truly find that even if I don’t know someone, I can love them. Whether we’ve ever communicated over DMs, met in person, or you’re my family, I want you to know that I love you, and I’m so proud of you. Thank you for being part of my life. Keep smiling.
